Isaiah Michalski is a writer, actor and director based in London. While studying English Literature at Harvard University, he wrote his first screenplay for Netflix and became the youngest screenwriter ever to write a charting Netflix feature film. 

As Variety reported during the 2026 Berlinale, Isaiah is now mid-shoot on his directorial debut “Triptych”. He writes and produces alongside his mother and collaborator, Gemma Michalski. The duo is routinely commissioned to develop original film and television properties for the industry's premier platforms, including Apple, HBO, Amazon, and Netflix. These include the Netflix drama-comedy series CRAP HAPPENS, the charting Netflix crime film BUBA, a spin-off of the How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) series, the Amazon drama LOVE ADDICTS and the award winning Netflix crime comedy KING OF STONKS, Winner of Best Comedy at the German Emmy.

His theatrical directing work has been showcased at the American Repertory Theatre, the English Theatre Berlin, the Harvard Arts First Festival. His plays have been performed internationally in London, Boston, Istanbul, and Berlin. Before that, Isaiah trained at the Berlin Schaubühne’s prestigious “Director’s Apprenticeship” program. As a film and television actor, he has worked with directors Roland Emmerich, Philipp Stölzl and Paul WS Anderson and others.
